A stay at Marina Rowena can include enjoying beautiful Lake Cumberland in Kentucky from one of the Marina’s watercraft.
Our pontoons are ready for rentals for various sized groups, and the Sea-Doos can add fun to any trip to the lake.
Whether your plans include a scenic ride, a picnic or a little fishing out on the lake, make sure to reserve the watercraft you want as soon as possible. All reservations are made and confirmed by phone.
There is NO TOWING behind any rented watercraft.
Boating Safety Course
First-time PWC operators must view a 10-minute safety video.
As you make plans to head to Marina Rowena, make sure to review the rules of the road for boating Kentucky Lakes. Boaters of ANY age can take either the online or instructor led Boating Safety course. It is required to operate a boat if you are 12-17 years old. The online version can be taken at home at any time. The online versions AND the instructor led classroom course result in the same “blue card” license. There’s more information HERE.
Fishing Licenses
While there is no fishing in the Marina Rowena Harbor, you will need a license if you plan to fish while out on the lake. Fishing Licenses can be purchased online for the day you plan to fish HERE.
Amenities
We look forward to seeing you at Marina Rowena! While you are there, stop in at the Ship’s Store to gear up for your trip, and take advantage of Rowena View Café for a menu full of wonderful food. Non-ethanol fuel is available at Marina Rowena in 87 octane regular or 93 octane premium.
Watercraft Rental Terms
PAYMENT: All pontoon and watercraft rentals require balance payment in advance. Rental fee does not include fuel, life jackets or ski equipment. No rainchecks or refunds on boat rentals.
PETS: Some pets love being on the lake. To bring them aboard one of our crafts will cost a pet fee of $25 per pet.
DEPOSITS: All Personal Water Craft (Sea Doo) require a $1000 cash deposit at the time of pick-up.
TAXES: Kentucky State and Local Sales Tax are added to all rentals.
TERMS: Credit card payments will incur a 3% service charge. Upon arrival, a signed credit card imprint will be held on file in case of damages.
GASOLINE: Rental fees do not include gas or oil. Portable gasoline and flammable liquid containers are NOT allowed aboard any rental boat. Average engine fuel consumption: 2-6 gallons per hour depending on throttle setting and operation. The average cruise speed is 7-18 miles per hour depending on the boat rented. A conservative throttle will stretch your fuel dollars! Non-ethanol fuel is available at Marina Rowena in 87 octane regular or 93 octane premium.
AGE REQUIREMENT: No watercraft will be rented to anyone under age 21. ID and Driver’s License are required. First time PWC operators must view 10 minute safety video.
Music and TV: While there are many places on the lake that your phone will find a signal to connect your music and video streaming services, there are places at the lake where your connections just won’t work. Pack a blue tooth speaker so that you can enjoy your music library from your phone. AND we enourage you to enjoy the peace of being unplugged!
CANCELLATION POLICY: This is a very seasonal business, with little walk-in traffic, which necessitates a firm cancellation policy; Refunds can be given in the event of cancellation with reasonable notice.
- More than 60-day notice: 75% of your rental fee will be refunded
- 45- to 60-day notice: 50% of your rental fee will be refunded
- 30- to 45-day notice: 25% of your rental fee will be refunded
Changes to confirmed reservations will incur a $25 fee for each reservation item. No reservation changes or reschedules permitted less than 30 days before arrival date.
Less than 30-day notice will result in a forfeit of payment. If Renter cancels less than 30days prior to arrival date, renter will be obligated to pay ALL RENTAL payments specified, and all monies received will be retained.
Rentals may be picked up at or after 9 a.m. and must be returned no later than 5 p.m. on each day of rental. All Personal Water Craft (Sea Doo) rentals require a $1000.00 cash deposit at the time of pick up.
